1. When will I receive my order?
In Stock products will ship normally within 1-4 business days. We support USPS! Shipping will be first class mail for orders weighing 15 oz or less and Priority mail for anything above that weight. A shipping notification will be sent to the email address provided when order is sent for shipment.
2. Can I make a custom order?
We would love to be part of your special event, it makes us happy just thinking about it (Side-note-The joy of soap started with a wedding favor patchouli soap that change Betty’s life…true story!) We are happy to accommodate custom requests and favor and full size soaps for weddings, bridal and baby showers and customer appreciation gifts. Soap labels can also be customized for your event.
For custom orders, our soaps are at their finest after a month cure. At this point we then package and ship them off to you! Minimum order requirements may apply.
3. What’s the deal with palm oil?
The palm oil used by Bettys Naturals products is ethical and Certified Sustainable Palm Oil by Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO.) Palm oil is used in our products in place of animal fat to keep Bettys Naturals completely vegan. It helps make a long-lasting and great lathering soap. No orangutans were harmed for our oil!
4. But I’m not vegan, so why care about animal product-free?
Glad you asked! First, is compassion to all sentient beings. Second, is the environmental footprint/consequence of commercial agriculture. This is a big one. Soil depletion, land and water use to feed the animals only to be slaughter for whatever, what to do with all that poo produced and impacts to climate change are a few of the biggies. YOU LOSE NOTHING BY ABSTINENCE OF ANIMAL PRODUCTS IN YOUR PERSONAL CARE! We promise you will feel just as groovy…maybe even groovier because happiness is a by-product of good choices.
5. Why does does my soap look different than the picture?
OOOH, honey this isn’t just soap…it’s art. Every soap is unique and special. There will never be another bar exactly like it! Cool right!!! So take a deep breathe next time you are in the shower or at sink, look at the details of the soap, take in the scent, the glide and the lather…ENJOY THIS MOMENT, there will never be another precisely like this. Our bars are a minimum of 4oz. Because of the handcrafting nature, sometimes we sneak in a bit more.
6. Does doing business with a small business really make a difference?
You have seen the meme of the CEO buying another yacht or jet. For us it’s supporting our kids school fundraisers, saving for their education and supporting our fellow local artisans. We have a small team of “Superwomen” that are the heart and soul of Bettys Naturals.
Batoul…ohhh this woman is an amazing human! I am happy and blessed that she chooses to share her time and talent no TALENTS. Like seriously she can do anything. And how cool is it to work with your dearest of friends. She’s a rock star Mom of 3 and wife. Faithful and full of goodness. I am grateful for this woman for soooo many reasons!
Darcia and baby Kayzlynn…mmmm so besides being one of the most compassionate and selfless people I have ever met….she is Superwoman. I am sure of it. Baby Kayzlynn comes to work with Darcia and D can be nursing baby and doing three things…and not miss a beat. Despite having a full life as well, with 3 kids, hubby and another job- she still does acts of service on the regular.
Betty is the most passionate and caring person you will ever meet! She has overcome struggles that would have easily torn anyone else down. Betty brings joy to everyone she meets, whether it’s a close friend, her two amazing children or a random person on the street. Her smile is absolutely infectious and you can’t help but feel her “groovy” vibes. She is a rockstar of a lady boss!
